From the Sisterhood:
Fellowship Meals:
Will be launched with a picnic (weather permitting) on the Feast of Transfiguration on 8/19. Anyone wanting to help with meals should contact either Liza Belikov or Valentina Shatalova (contact information provided below). Thank you to all those who donate food, cook marvelous dishes and for the donations of supplies – your efforts are amazing.

From the Choir:
Anyone wanting to join the choir should speak with Valentina Shatalova (choir director). Our first rehearsal this season was today 8/17 after liturgy.
For the Children: (and parents….)
Please be on the lookout for some Feast Day coloring pages and information for the children. If we have regular attendance by our children, it would be lovely to have a children’s choir sing certain hymns during the service. This takes commitment and practice. The future of our church lies in the hands of our children.
Consider becoming a Member:
The payment of church dues helps the church maintain a budget. There are of course the usual heat and electricity costs of owning any building. There is also snow removal and landscaping. These are things that need to be covered by church membership.
There is also a building fund which helps with the wear and tear of our (very) old building. There are people who donate specifically to the building fund to allow for special projects such as roof replacement and painting.
If you are attending services regularly, it is suggested that you show commitment by becoming a member. A church needs new members to continue to grow. One only needs to look into any town to see beautiful churches becoming restaurants and chic housing.
For dues and membership information, please see Tatiana Lukianoff, the church treasurer.
Sisterhood Membership:
There are no dues for the St. Nicholas sisterhood membership! Please see Liza Belikov or Valentina Shatalova for more information. The sisterhood coordinates meals for fellowship - money earned from meals helps with things like choir projects, vestments, church beautification, and visiting clergy for our Feast Day.
