Newsletter October/November 2025

What's new and gratitude:

We recently had a brand new floor installed thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor family and also their labor!  We are so grateful!

Our water heater broke down and leaked on a holiday weekend in October, but thankfully we were able to get a new one just in time for a baptism the next day!

We have a brand new super dehumidifier installed in the basement.

The Sisterhood has a brand new fridge which they are excited about and thankful for to our donor.

More projects and improvements are planned for November.

More gratitude

Thank you's go out to all the anonymous donors who generously donate for our church.  We would not be able to continue without you.

Thank you's also to all the families who donate food, supplies and their delicious cooking for our communal meals!

Lunch and schedule updates

-Lunches are planned for November 2 and a Thanksgiving-themed lunch for November 16.  We are always looking for donations of supplies and cooking!

-SCHEDULE CHANGE: There will be no service in Poughkeepsie November 23, as all are invited for an anniversary celebration to Mahopac church. https://ourladyofkursk.org/ More information is to follow

We hope to do a second round of catechumen classes in November- please contact Valentina or Natalie if interested. 

Many of you remember the Temkin family.  They were baptized in New York City in September.  We send them our heartfelt good wishes!
